Our Health and Safety Policies

Running our small business during these crazy times has not been easy. We are doing our best to keep everyone safe and well. If you are unwell with covid or having to isolate, we have temporarily waived our cancellation fee. Please give us as much notice as you can if you can’t make your appointment. We will be working reduced hours with less staff and therefore fewer clients in the clinic at a time, so unfortunately, we may have to reschedule your appointment. We will remain open to clients with appointments only.

Coming alone to your appointment

We ask if you can come alone to your appointment. The fewer people in the salon the better!

Vaccinations 

We have been given the permission to tell you that the Equipoise team are double vaccinated. All clients must also be double vaccinated before they can visit us for a treatment. As we are a close contact business we are taking extra precautions so all clients will need to show a vaccination certificate at their first appointment post lockdown.  

During your appointment 

These last three months have been tough and after lockdown we want you to take the time to heal, not dwell on past events. Therefore, our conversations with clients will not centre around current world affairs or COVID (including vaccinations, testing and lockdowns). The time you spend at Equipoise is special and should solely be about your resting and recovering.

Health and Safety protocols 

The following Health and Safety protocols will be in place during the traffic light framework: 

  1. If you are feeling unwell at the time of your appointment please cancel via phone 24 hours prior to your appointment. The team will help to accommodate all our clients over the next few weeks and will be working extra hours to do so.

  2. Please arrive on time for your appointment.

  3. Please scan our Covid-19 tracer app. 

  4. Once you have entered Equipoise please approach our reception desk bearing in mind appropriate social distancing. This is the time you’ll present your vaccination passport.

  5. Please sanitise your hands using our hand sanitiser.

  6. Once sanitised you will be led straight to your room by your therapist (we are adhering to social distancing protocol).

  7. Please wear a face mask per government regulations. All our team will be wearing masks (as per Covid-19 health and safety protocols).

  8. We will not be serving refreshments during this time.

  9. Once you've finished your appointment you may pay via Pay Wave or via internet banking on your phone.

  10. You are able to purchase your skincare products from reception.

Purchasing products and gift vouchers 

Our online store is open for the purchase of products and gift vouchers! Your support during these last few months have meant the world to us and we want to say a massive 'thank you' to everyone who has used our online store.
