Everything you need to know about caring for your skin in winter (and it’s not as radical as you think!)

The cold winter days are here. This is the guide you need to combat dry, winter skin!

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate

The number one step to care for your skin in winter is to keep yourself hydrated. Keep your fluid levels up by drinking enough water during the day, and herbal teas are a great way to up your water intake at night. Try our Good Vibes Tea with hemp seeds, magnesium, iron, zinc, cinnamon, clove, rosehip and elderberry.

Keep Using SPF

Just because it’s winter, doesn’t mean you should stop the sunscreen. And make sure you get the spots often missed such as your ears and back of neck. We love the DermaQuest Sheer Zinc SPF 30 and the Mineral Liplux SPF30 by Coola.

In-Clinic Treatments

Treat yourself to The Works – a treatment combining microdermabrasion, peel, Omnilux, mask, décolleté massage and vitamin infusion to give yourself a seriously luscious winter treat.  Check out our winter treatments here.

Keep Water Temperatures Low

Having very hot showers is a sure-fire way to dry out your skin. Keep an eye on how hot and how long you shower for, and after bathing and showering pat your skin dry (rather than rub) and lather on a nourishing moisturiser like the Lalicious Sugar Body Butter.
